Veronica Guzman's career includes management consulting, mergers & acquisition advisory, stakeholder buy-in, financial analysis & product development for international firms and she invested in a New York City based FinTech / B2B media & events company serving C-level executives in the financial services industry; key clients comprise the S&P 500, Fortune 500, Nasdaq 100 & Global Fortune 100 firms. Her deal sheet associated with mergers & acquisitions includes various international transactions and clients such as: Getty Images, Gucci, Investcorp, Sasib (acquired by Alstom) and UniLever.
Veronica Guzman graduated from New York University’s (NYU) Stern School of Business with dual concentrations in Finance & Accounting and advanced studies in Management & Marketing, studied at New York University’s Heyman Center for Philanthropy & Fundraising and NYU's Center for Advanced Digital Applications. She earned her Certificate in Incubation Management with the National Business Incubation Association (now International Business Innovation Association).
Veronica serves as an advisor, mentor, funding screener and speaker to entrepreneurs via NYU Stern's W.R. Berkley Innovation Lab (including the $300K Entrepreneurs' Challenge), Astia (including Astia Angels; Astia is a global network of men & women who embrace the vision of inclusive female-male teams as an investment strategy), Founder Institute (the world's premier idea-stage accelerator & startup launch program, has launched 3,500+ companies and a global network across 6 continents & 180+ cities) and Springboard Enterprises (a leading women's accelerator with a path to IPO; their women-led companies have raised over $8.6 billion and 13 IPOs including ZipCar (acquired by Avis Budget Group: NASDAQ: CAR), Constant Contact (acquired by Endurance International Group: NASDAQ: EIGI) and iRobot (NASDAQ: IRBT). She has spoken at Digital Diversity Network, NAMIC (National Association of Multi-Ethnicity in Communications) and various innovation & diversity conferences.
